If the Master Control lever is on "Run" : Press down the throttle trigger interlock - and move the Master Control lever downward. "Cold Start" position: Choke shutter is closed - throttle trigger is in startingthrottle position. A cold engine should be started in this position. As soon as engine begins to fire, move the Master Control lever to "Warm Start" position : Move the Master Control lever one notch upward. "Warm Start" position: Choke shutter is open throttle trigger is in starting-throttle position If you leave the Master Control lever in the "Cold Start" position, the combustion chamber will flood and stall the engine. The Master Control lever must be in "Warm Start" position to start a warm engine. Also select this position if engine has been running but is still cold. The Master Control lever should not be forced to "Run" position it will move to "Run" as soon as the throttle trigger is activated. In the "Warm Start" position, continue cranking after engine begins to fire. As soon as the engine runs, blip the throttle trigger so that the Master Control lever moves to "Run" idling position normal operating position . Move the Master Control lever upward to "STOP" position : The stop contact engages the contact spring - this cuts out the ignition system.

To start the engine, move the lever to
