Maintenance and Care The following intervals apply to normal operating conditions only. If your daily working time is longer or operating conditions are difficult (very dusty work area, etc.), shorten the specified intervals accordingly. Complete machine Visual inspection (condition, leaks) Clean X X X Control handle Check operation X X Air filter Clean Replace Manual fuel pump (if fitted) Pickup body in fuel tank Check X Have repaired by servicing dealer1) Have checked by servicing dealer1) Have replaced by servicing dealer1) Fuel tank Clean Carburetor Check idle adjustment - chain must not rotate X X Adjust idle speed Spark plug Readjust electrode gap Replace after every 100 operating hours Visual inspection X Cooling inlets Clean Valve clearance1) Check and, if necessary, have adjusted by dealer after first 139 hours of operation Combustion chamber1) 2) Decoke after first 139 hours of operation, then every 150 hours of operation Check X Spark arresting screen in muffler Clean or replace All accessible screws and nuts (not adjusting screws) Retighten HT 100, HT 101, HT 130, HT 131 before starting work after finishing work or daily after each refueling stop weekly monthly every 12 months if problem if damaged as required English X X X X X X X X X X X X X X X X X X X 39
