Mounting and Removing the Grass Bag, Inserting and Removing the Mulch Insert

11 Assembling the Lawn Mower ► Align the upper part (1) and lower part (2) of the handle so that the pin (4) engages into the bore (3) on both sides. ► Insert the screw (5) and align it so that the screw head is flush with the lower part of the handle on both sides. ► Screw on the star knob nut (6). ► Press the cable (7) into the holder (8) on both sides. 11.2 Mounting and Removing the Grass Bag 11.2.1 Mounting the Grass Bag To mount the grass bag: ► Switch off the lawn mower and wait for the cutting blade to come to a complete stop, @ 15.2. ► Position the lawn mower on a level surface. ► If the side discharge cover is still mounted, remove it. ► If the mulch insert plug is still mounted, remove it. English ► Open the rear discharge cover and hold it in position. ► Hold grass bag by its handle and unhook it upwards. ► Close the rear discharge cover. 11.3 Inserting and Removing the Mulch Insert 11.3.1 Installing the Mulch Insert To install the mulch insert: ► Switch off the lawn mower, @ 15.2. ► Remove the fuse key and battery, @ 13.2 and @ 14.2. ► Position the lawn mower on a level surface. 1 0000-GXX-4634-A0 0000-GXX-7751-A0 1 5 4 3 2 ► Open the rear discharge cover (1) and hold it in position. ► Hold grass bag (2) by its handle (3) and engage the hooks (4) on the rod (5). ► Close the rear discharge cover. 11.2.2 Removing the Grass Bag To remove the grass bag: ► Switch off the lawn mower and wait for the cutting blade to come to a complete stop, @ 15.2. ► Position the lawn mower on a level surface. 4 23 ► Open the rear discharge cover (1) and hold it in position. ► Hold the mulch insert (2) by the handle (3) and fit it securely in the rear discharge chute (4). ► Close the rear discharge cover. 11.3.2 Removing the Mulch Insert To remove the mulch insert: ► Switch off the lawn mower, @ 15.2. ► Remove the fuse key and battery, @ 13.2 and @ 14.2. ► Position the lawn mower on a level surface. ► Open the rear discharge cover and hold it in position. ► Grip the mulch insert by the handle and take it out of the rear discharge chute. ► Close the rear discharge cover. 0458-819-8621-A 21

11 Assembling the Lawn Mower

►

Align the upper part

(1) and lower part

(2) of the handle so

that the pin (4) engages into the bore (3) on both sides.

►

Insert the screw (5) and align it so that the screw head is

flush with the lower part of the handle on both sides.

►

Press the cable (7) into the holder (8) on both sides.

11.2.1

Mounting the Grass Bag

To mount the grass bag:

►

Switch off the lawn mower and wait for the cutting blade to

come to a complete stop,

Position the lawn mower on a level surface.

►

If the side discharge cover is still mounted, remove it.

►

If the mulch insert plug is still mounted, remove it.

►

Open the rear discharge cover (1) and hold it in position.

►

Hold grass bag (2) by its handle (3) and engage the

hooks (4) on the rod (5).

►

Close the rear discharge cover.

Removing the Grass Bag

To remove the grass bag:

►

Switch off the lawn mower and wait for the cutting blade to

come to a complete stop,

Open the rear discharge cover and hold it in position.

►

Hold grass bag by its handle and unhook it upwards.

Close the rear discharge cover.

To install the mulch insert:

Switch off the lawn mower,

►

Hold the mulch insert (2) by the handle (3) and fit it

To remove the mulch insert:

Switch off the lawn mower,
