To prepare the lawn mower for transportation or storage: ► Switch off the lawn mower, @ 15.2. ► Remove the fuse key and battery, @ 13.2 and @ 14.2. ► If the battery or lawn mower became wet during operation, allow it to dry completely before charging or storing. 20 Transporting the Lawn Mower and Battery 20.1 Lawn Mower WARNING To reduce the risk of personal injury from unintended activation, never lift or carry the lawn mower by hand with the fuse key and battery inserted. WARNING To reduce the risk of injury from loss of control and blade contact, never carry or transport your lawn mower with the mowing blade moving, @ 5.7.4. Ensure the mowing blade has stopped before lifting or carrying the lawn mower, @ 5.7.4. 19 After Finishing Work To transport the lawn mower: ► Push the lawn mower forward slowly and in a controlled manner or drive the lawn mower using the drive system. ► When transporting the lawn mower in a vehicle, secure and position the lawn mower to prevent turnover, impact and damage. Use ropes or straps to secure the handles.
