TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE If you have followed the instructions contained in this manual and have difficulty in operating your TVNCR, locate the PROBLEM in the left column below. Check the corresponding CORRECTIVE ACTION column to remedy the problem. PROBLEM CORRECTIVE ACTION No power. • • Make sure the AC cord is connected to an AC outlet. • Make sure the power is turned on. No picture and sound. • Make sure the AC cord is connected to an AC outlet. • Check antenna connection. • Let the TVNCR program its' tuner memory. No picture or poor picture on TV/VCR. i • Adjust direction or replace antenna. . • Adjust picture controls. No sound or poor sound. i • Adjust volume control on remote control or main unit. • Press the. MUTE button to restore sound. Timer recording is not possible. i • Make sure the timer recording is set correctly. • Make sure the power is off. l* Make sure the TV/VCR clock is set correctly. Cannot go into Record mode.
