Serial Port, Connection type, Surveillance Station WebAPI, Send Transactions Using WebAPI

When selecting Serial Port from the Connection type drop-down menu, you will be required to set up port related settings, which are to be consistent with your device. Installation When selecting Surveillance Station WebAPI from the Connection type drop-down menu, you will also be required to set up the IP address and the specified port. However, unlike TCP, Surveillance Station WebAPI does not receive raw data from the IP address and port. These are only used to detect whether the device is still active or not. Surveillance Station receives raw data from the device via the WebAPI Synology provided. For more information, please refer to Chapter 6: Send Transactions Using WebAPI. 07
