MICROPHONE INPUTS The DM-24 has 16 mic preamps with phantom power in groups of four. This might be enough for small events. If more mic preamps are needed we recommend the Presonus DigimaxLT. This is an 8-channel preamp with a digital lightpipe output. Adding one of these will give you 24 mic preamps. If you need 32 mic preamps you will require two DigimaxLTs and one IF-AD/DM lightpipe option card. Mic/line inputs 1-16 would be assigned to channels 1-16 on the DM-24 while the Digimax connected to the internal lightpipe will be assigned to channels 17-24 and the Digimax connected to the lightpipe option card will be assigned to channels 25-32.
