Choose the menu QoS→Bandwidth Control→Storm Control to load the following page. Figure 9-11 Storm Control The following entries are displayed on this screen:  Storm Control Config Port Select: Click the Select button to quick-select the corresponding port based on the port number you entered. Se le ct: Select the desired port for Storm Control configuration. It is multi-optional. Port: Displays the port number of the switch. Broadcast (bps): Mulitcast (bps): UL-Frame (bps): LAG: Rate Rate Rate Select the bandwidth for receiving broadcast packets on the port. The packet traffic exceeding the bandwidth will be discarded. Select Disable to disable the storm control function for the port. Select the bandwidth for receiving multicast packets on the port. The packet traffic exceeding the bandwidth will be discarded. Select Disable to disable the storm control function for the port. Select the bandwidth for receiving UL-Frame on the port. The packet traffic exceeding the bandwidth will be discarded. Select Disable to disable the storm control function for the port. Displays the LAG number which the port belongs to. Note : If you enable storm control feature for the ingress rate limit-enabled port, ingress rate limit feature will be disabled for this port. 107

Storm Control Config
Port Select:
Click the

Broadcast
Rate
(bps):
Select the bandwidth for receiving broadcast packets on the port.
The packet traffic exceeding the bandwidth will be discarded.
Select Disable to disable the storm control function for the port.
Mulitcast
Rate
(bps):
Select the bandwidth for receiving multicast packets on the port.
The packet traffic exceeding the bandwidth will be discarded.
Select Disable to disable the storm control function for the port.
UL-Frame
Rate
(bps):
Select the bandwidth for receiving UL-Frame on the port. The
packet traffic exceeding the bandwidth will be discarded. Select
Disable to disable the storm control function for the port.
LAG:
Displays the LAG number which the port belongs to.
Note:
If you enable storm control feature for the ingress rate limit-enabled port, ingress rate limit feature
will be disabled for this port.
