Manage Favourites Tap this button to rename or delete Favourites. Manage Favourites To find a Favourite quickly, tap Find, then start to type the name of the Favourite. As soon as the Favourite is shown in the list, you can select it. For more information about Favourites, see Favourites on page 29. Change Home location Tap this button to set or change your Home location. Change Home location Do I have to have my actual home as the Home location? Your Home location can be a place you go often, for example, your office. It doesn't have to be your actual home. Why should I set a Home location? Once you have set your Home location, you can navigate there quickly whenever you need to get there. In the Navigate to... menu, just tap Home. Change voice Tap this button to change the voice which gives you instructions. A wide range of recorded human voices and computer voices are available. Change voice For more information on choosing a voice and the differences between human and computer voices, see Sound on page 39. Warn when near POI Tap this button to be alerted when you are near a Point of Interest (POI). Warn when near POI For example, your GO can tell you when there is a petrol station nearby, or warn you that there is a safety camera coming up. To find out about POIs and about setting warnings for POIs, see Points of Interest on page 33. Set clock Tap this button to set the time and to change the way the time is displayed. Set clock The easiest way to set the time is by tapping the Sync button. Your GO will then take the time from the GPS information it receives. For more information about GPS, see How does navigation work? on page 67. Note: After using Sync to set the time, you may have to adjust the hours depending on your time zone. You can only use Sync if you have GPS reception, so you cannot set the clock in this way when you are indoors. • • 54

Home

Tap this button to set or change your Home location.
Do I have to have my actual home as the Home location?
Your Home location can be a place you go often, for example, your office. It
doesn’t have to be your actual home.
Why should I set a Home location?
Once you have set your Home location, you can navigate there quickly
whenever you need to get there. In the
Navigate to...
menu, just tap
Home
.
Change voice
Tap this button to change the voice which gives you instructions.
A wide range of recorded human voices and computer voices are available.

Warn when
near POI
Tap this button to be alerted when you are near a Point of Interest (POI).
For example, your GO can tell you when there is a petrol station nearby, or
warn you that there is a safety camera coming up.

Set clock
Tap this button to set the time and to change the way the time is displayed.
