Introduction Connecting your TV Using the Remote Control Setting up your TV Adjusting the picture quality You can adjust the picture quality (contrast, brightness, color, tint, and sharpness) to your personal preferences. Selection contrast brightness color tint sharpness x Pressing • lower darker paler reddish softer higher lighter deeper greenish sharper To adjust the picture quality: 1. Press MENU, and then press x or • until the PICTURE menu appears. 2. Press z or y until the item you want to adjust (contrast, brightness, color, tint, or sharpness) is highlighted. 3. Press x or • to adjust the level. You can keep these settings or choose factory set options, as described under "Selecting the picture mode" on page 38. Saving your new preferences You can save the PICTURE qualities you adjusted (contrast, brightness, color, tint, and sharpness) in the PICTURE PREFERENCE mode. To save your new preferences: 1. Press MENU, and then press x or • until the PICTURE menu appears. 2. Press y or z to highlight SAVE NEW PREFERENCE. 3. Press x or •. The menu displays "DONE." P I CTURE ANTENNA MODE PREFERENCE FLESH TONE CableClear DNR COLOR OFF OFF TEMPERATURE MEDI UM SAVE NEW PREFERENCE DONE The mode automatically changes to PREFERENCE.
