A Check the mains switch is on and check all connections. Check the television is not in standby mode. If the lamp unit has recently been replaced, make sure that it has been installed properly and that the unit door has been replaced correctly. Q Why is the picture very dark? A The lamp unit may need to be replaced. Q There is a picture, but why is there little or no colour? A When using an external source, for instance, a poor quality video tape, if there is little or no colour, improvements may sometimes be achieved. The colour is factory set to Auto. to automatically display the best colour system.
