Brightness down button Press this button to decrease the computer's display panel brightness. When you press the brightness up/down buttons or adjust the brightness by pressing the function keys, the brightness of display panel will change but there would be no toast notification on the screen. The brightness adjustment through the Settings charm is not available for this model. Volume up button Press this button to increase the computer's volume. Volume down button Press this button to decrease the computer's volume. Memory media slot This slot lets you insert an SD™/SDHC™/ SDXC™ memory card, miniSD™/microSD™ Card and MultiMediaCard™. Refer to the Memory media section for more information. Keep foreign metal objects, such as screws, staples and paper clips, out of the Memory media slot. Foreign metal objects can create a short circuit, which can cause damage and fire, possibly resulting in serious injury. Headphone jack A 3.5 mm mini headphone jack enables connection of stereo headphones. Microphone jack A 3.5 mm mini microphone jack enables connection of a three-conductor mini jack for stereo microphone input. The integrated sound system provides support for the computer's internal speakers and microphone, as well as allowing an external microphone and headphones to be connected via the appropriate jacks.
