HW Setup HW SETUP Power On Display Let you use the display to be used when the computer is booted. (This setting is only available while Windows Logo is displaying and not available after Windows Desktop is displayed.) Auto-Selected Selects an external monitor if one is connected. Otherwise, it selects the internal LCD. (Default) LCD + Analog RGB Selects both the internal LCD and external monitor for simultaneous display. CPU Dynamic CPU Frequency Mode This option lets you choose from the following settings: Dynamically Switchable CPU power consumption and clock speed automatic switching function is enabled. When the computer is in use, CPU operation is automatically switched when necessary. (Default) Always High CPU power consumption and clock speed automatic switching function is disabled. The CPU always runs at its fastest speed. Always Low CPU power consumption and clock speed automatic switching function is disabled. The CPU always runs at low power consumption and low speed. Boot Priority Boot Priority Options This option sets the priority for booting the computer. Select from the following settings: HDD −> FDD −> CD-ROM−> LAN The computer looks for bootable files in the following order: HDD, diskette drive, CD-ROM* and LAN. (Default) FDD −> HDD −> CD-ROM−> LAN The computer looks for bootable files in the following order: diskette drive, HDD, CD-ROM* and LAN. 7-3
