NOTE The first time you dock your computer, a message should appear on your computer screen indicating the devices connected to the port replicator are ready to use. If this message does not appear, follow the instructions in step 1 of "Setting up the port replicator" on page 16, or see the Troubleshooting section. NOTE You can leave your computer docked in the port replicator overnight. Use the standard Windows® shutdown procedure, which will automatically power off your computer. Press the power button on the port replicator (or the computer's power button) when you are ready to turn the computer on again.
