12 If operating the monitor with the USB cable, please make sure that the battery on your computer is fully charged or connect your computer to the AC power adaptor while in use. Connect the optional AC adaptor (AC adaptor sold separately) to the DC IN 19V jack on the right side of the monitor to operate it on AC power. This will give you the maximum brightness. For optimal performance, connect the monitor directly to the computer, rather than through a USB hub. After connecting the monitor to your computer, the TOSHIBA Mobile Monitor icon ( ) appears in the system tray of your Windows® desktop to help you configure the monitor.
