Introduction TOSHIBA ConfigFree TOSHIBA ConfigFree is a suite of utilities that improve the ease and control of communication devices and network connections, help in the identification of communication problems and allow the creation of profiles if you need to switch between different locations and communication networks. To access this utility, click Start → All Programs → TOSHIBA → ConfigFree. TOSHIBA Disc Creator You can create CD's and DVD's in a number of formats including audio CD's that can be played on a standard CD player, and data CD's/DVD's which can store copies of the files and folders on your computer's hard disk drive. This software can be used on models with a DVD Super Multi drive. To start this utility, click Start → All Programs → TOSHIBA → CD&DVD Applications → Disc Creator. TOSHIBA Face Recognition TOSHIBA Face Recognition uses a face verification library to verify the face data of users when they log in to Windows. If the verification is successful, the user will be logged into Windows automatically. The user can thus avoid having to enter a password or the like, which makes the login process easier. TOSHIBA USB Sleep and Charge Utility This utility is able to either enable or disable the USB sleep and Charge function. This utility shows the positions of USB ports that support the USB sleep and Charge function and displays the battery's remaining capacity.
