58 Getting Started Using the computer in Tablet mode (Sample Image) Holding the computer in Photography mode Calibrating digital compass If you have downloaded a compass application, to use this feature, please note that the performance of any compass feature will vary depending on environmental conditions. For example, any source using electromagnetic or radio waves. Before using any compass feature the compass needs to be calibrated for accuracy. To calibrate, please disconnect the AC adaptor and remove all peripheral/cables, and then horizontally rotate the computer with the power on several times as shown in the illustration below. Please note this is the most effective method of calibrating this computer. (Sample Image) Photography mode Changing to Laptop mode To use the computer as a normal laptop computer with its internal keyboard: 1 Hold the computer with two hands on both the left and right sides. 2 Slowly slide the display panel along the main body with two hands. Carefully slide the display panel out evenly from both sides without excessive or sudden force.
