Insert the optional remote control-fitted earphone plug into the stereo headphone jack as shown in the figure below. Use the specified remote control-fitted earphone. If you use a different type of earphone, it may malfunction. The connectable pin size of the headphone/earphone is a 3.5 mm mini plug type. Connecting to a Computer Before connecting your Toshiba Pocket PC to a computer, check the following. ■ ActiveSync has been installed on your desktop. (See Chapter 3.) ■ The Toshiba Pocket PC and the computer are both turned off. ■ The position of connecting port on the computer may differ according to the computer type. To connect Remote Control-Fitted Earphone Microphone
You can listen to the sound output from your Toshiba Pocket PC by connecting the
optional remote control-fitted earphone microphone.
Insert the optional remote control-fitted earphone plug into the stereo headphone jack
as shown in the figure below.
Use the specified remote control-fitted earphone. If you use a different type of
earphone, it may malfunction.

Connecting to a Computer
Before connecting your Toshiba Pocket PC to a computer, check the following.
■
ActiveSync has been installed on your desktop. (See Chapter 3.)
■
The Toshiba Pocket PC and the computer are both turned off.

The position of connecting port on the computer may differ according to the
computer type.
