Rating Enable, Channel Block

Rating Enable This option turns Rating Enable On or Off. It is the master control that applies the settings made within the content blocking menus that follow. Press the MENU button to bring up the On Screen Display (OSD). Press the " button to highlight the Setup option. Press the OK button to enter the Setup sub-menu. Press the " button to highlight the Rating Enable option. Press the # or $ button to enable or disable blocking Press the " button to highlight the Parental option. Press the $ button to enter password. Once the adjustments are completed, press the MENU button to return to the previous menu or the EXIT button to exit the OSD completely. Note: When Rating Enable is set to On, PIP functions will be disabled. This is because PIP sources can contain blocked material, and cannot be enabled with the password. If PIP functions are desired, please set Rating Enable to Off. Channel Block This option allows blocking of selected TV or Cable channels. Press the " button to highlight the Channel Block option. Press the $ button to go to the Channel Block sub-menu. Press the " or ! button to highlight the channel you wish to block. Press OK to add a checkmark to block the highlighted channel. Press OK to delete a checkmark to unblock the highlighted channel. Press the $%button to skip ahead one page.% Press the #%button to skip back one page. Once the adjustments are completed, press the MENU button to return to the previous menu or the EXIT button to exit the OSD completely. Note: When a channel is selected using either CH+ or CH- or by direct number input, and that channel is blocked, the information banner will display "Channel Locked!" It will be necessary to perform the above steps and unblock the channel in order to be viewed. Press CH+ or CH- or input another channel number to skip over the blocked channel. Rating Enable

When Rating Enable is set to On, PIP functions will be disabled. This is because PIP sources can
contain blocked material, and cannot be enabled with the password. If PIP functions are desired, please
set Rating Enable to Off.
Channel Block
This option allows blocking of selected TV or Cable channels.
Press the

button to go to the Channel Block sub-menu.

button to highlight the channel you wish to block.

to add a checkmark to block the highlighted channel.
