Voice Settings Voice Set Each Voice is linked to its default Voice Set parameter settings, equivalent to those in the Voice Edit display (page 42) for the Voices other than the Organ Flutes Voices. Although usually these settings are automatically called up by selecting a Voice, you can also disable this feature. For example, if you want to change the Voice yet keep the same Harmony effect, remove the checkmark of "Keyboard Harmony." Setting Category Button S.Art2 Auto Articulation (only for CVP-709) Determines how the Voice Selection display is opened when one of the VOICE category buttons is pressed. • Open & Select: Opens the Voice Selection display with the previously selected Voice in the Voice category automatically selected (when one of the VOICE category buttons is pressed). • Open Only: Opens the Voice Selection display with the currently selected Voice (when one of the VOICE category buttons is pressed). Determines whether articulation is added to S.Articulation2! Voices automatically. Voice Characteristics In the Voice Selection display, icons defining the Voice characteristics are indicated at left of the Voice name, and detailed information for the selected Voice can be called up by touching (Information). VRM Natural! S.Articulation! S.Articulation2! (only for CVP-709) Live! Refer to the Owner's Manual. Natural! Voices are high quality sounds based on many specialist sampling techniques. They are especially suited to recreating Piano and other keyboard instruments. Refer to the Owner's Manual. Live! Voices feature stereo sampling, to reproduce accurately the stereo image of an acoustic instrument, as well as the ambience of the room it was recorded in. CVP-709/CVP-705 Reference Manual 75
