Making Global Settings (Utility) Speaker/Connectivity Speaker Determines how the sound is output from the speaker of this instrument. • Headphone Switch: Speaker sounds normally, but is cut off when headphones are inserted to the [PHONES] jack. • On: Speaker sound is always on. • Off: Speaker sound is off. You can only hear the instrument sound via the headphones or an external device connected to the AUX OUT jacks. Stereophonic Optimizer Turns the Stereophonic Optimizer on or off. • On: This function is effective on the VRM Voices sounded from the headphone(s) connected to the [PHONE] jack(s). NOTE If the "Speaker" setting above is "On" and headphone(s) are connected to the [PHONE] jack(s), this function is effective on the VRM Voices from the headphone(s) as well as from the speakers of the instrument. NOTE If the headphone(s) are connected to the [PHONE] jack(s) and external audio devices are connected to the AUX OUT[L/L+R]/[R] jacks, this function is effective on the VRM Voices from the headphone(s) as well as from the audio devices. • Off: The Stereophonic Optimizer effect is not applied. IAC (Intelligent Acoustic Control) Turns on or off the IAC (Intelligent Acoustic Control). With this function, the sound quality of this instrument is automatically adjusted and controlled according to the overall volume. Even when the volume is low, this lets you hear both low sounds and high sounds clearly. IAC Depth Adjusts the IAC depth. AUX In Noise Gate Turns on or off the Noise Gate which minimizes noise of the sound input via the [AUX IN] jack. Screen Out Content Determines the contents of the Video Out signal. • Lyrics/Text: Only the lyrics of the Song or text files (whichever you used last time) are output, regardless of the display that is called up on the instrument. • LCD: The currently selected display is output. Speaker
Determines how the sound is output from the speaker of this instrument.
Headphone Switch:
Speaker sounds normally, but is cut off when headphones are
inserted to the [PHONES] jack.
• On:
Speaker sound is always on.
• Off:
Speaker sound is off. You can only hear the instrument sound via the headphones
or an external device connected to the AUX OUT jacks.
Stereophonic Optimizer
Turns the Stereophonic Optimizer on or off.
• On:
This function is effective on the VRM Voices sounded from the headphone(s)
connected to the [PHONE] jack(s).
NOTE
If the “Speaker” setting above is “On” and headphone(s) are connected to the [PHONE]
jack(s), this function is effective on the VRM Voices from the headphone(s) as well as
from the speakers of the instrument.
NOTE
If the headphone(s) are connected to the [PHONE] jack(s) and external audio devices
are connected to the AUX OUT[L/L+R]/[R] jacks, this function is effective on the VRM
Voices from the headphone(s) as well as from the audio devices.
• Off:

IAC (Intelligent Acoustic
Control)
Turns on or off the IAC (Intelligent Acoustic Control). With this function, the sound
quality of this instrument is automatically adjusted and controlled according to the
overall volume. Even when the volume is low, this lets you hear both low sounds and
high sounds clearly.
IAC Depth
Adjusts the IAC depth.
