If offset delay is to be used, take care to place speakers equidistant with respect to the audience as well as considering other measures to assure proper sound quality. 5. Set Up 1 Using the RS-485 Port (without regard to signal connections) D2040 D2040 D2040 • Either of the RS-485 connectors can be used for connections because each port handles both input and output. Up to 32 units can be daisy chained together. • Be sure to use a digital audio cable of the following specifications for connection: impedance - 90 to 120 52, shield type, equalized transmission cable.
