CONTROLS AND FUNCTIONS Remote control This section describes the remote control controls and their functions. POWER 1 POWER Turns this unit on, or set it to the standby mode. 2 SLEEP 1 SLEEP 6CH INPUT Sets the sleep timer. 3 Input selector buttons Select the input source. 2 DVD D-TV/CBL VCR q 4 PRESET +/- Selects preset station numbers 1 to 8. 5 DSP program Select DSP programs. Press a button repeatedly to select a DSP program within that group. 3 CD V-AUX TUNER MD/CD-R 6 LEVEL Selects the effect speaker channel to be adjusted. 4 - PRESET + A/B/C/D/E w PROGRAM HALL JAZZ CLUB ROCK CONCERT 7 Multi control section Used when changing the setting and to implement the settings. 8 TEST Outputs the test tone to adjust the speaker levels. ENTERTAINMENT TV SPORTS MONO MOVIE 5 MOVIE 1 - THEATER - 2 q / DTS SUR. 9 MUTE Mutes the sound. Press again to restore the audio output to the previous volume level. MATRIX 6.1 0 VOLUME h/g SELECT Increases or decreases the volume level. LEVEL SET MENU q 6CH INPUT e Selects the audio source connected to the 6CH INPUT jacks. 6 7 8 EFFECT MUTE - DSP TEST STEREO + w A/B/C/D/E Selects preset station groups A to E. r e SET MENU Selects the SET MENU mode. 9 0 VOLUME r STEREO/EFFECT Switches between normal stereo and DSP effect reproduction. When STEREO is selected, 2-channel signals are directed to the main left and right speakers without effect sounds and all Dolby Digital and DTS signals (except the LFE channel) are mixed down to the main left and right speakers. 6
