SET MENU 3 SP DLY TIME (speaker delay time) Use this feature to adjust the delay of the center channel sounds. This feature works when there is sound output from the center speaker, with a source like Dolby Digital or DTS, etc. Ideally, the center speaker should be the same distance from the main listening position as the left and right speakers. However, in most home situations, the center speaker is placed in line with the main speakers. By delaying the sound from the center speaker, the apparent distance from the center speaker to the main listening position can be adjusted to make it seem the same as the distance between the main left and right speaker to the listening position. Adjusting the delay time for the center speaker is especially important for giving depth to the dialogue. Control range: CENTER ...0 to 5 ms Initial setting: CENTER ...0 ms 4 D.
