SLEEP TIMER Use this feature to automatically set this unit in the standby mode after the amount of time you have set. The sleep timer is useful when you are going to sleep while this unit is playing or recording a source. The sleep timer also automatically turns off the external component(s) connected to AC OUTLET(S). The sleep timer can only be set with the remote control. Canceling the sleep timer 1 Press SLEEP repeatedly until "SLEEP OFF" appears on the front panel display. After a few seconds, "SLEEP OFF" disappears, the "SLEEP" indicator goes off and the display returns to the previous indication. SLEEP y • By connecting a commercially available timer to this unit, you can also set a wake-up timer. Refer to the operation instructions of the timer. y • The sleep timer setting can also be canceled by setting this unit in the standby mode by using POWER on the remote control (or STANDBY/ON on the front panel) or by disconnecting the AC power cord from the AC outlet.
