Basic Operation and LCD Display Notation Displays the melody and chord notes of a song when the Easy Performer function is in use, or the notes of chords you specify when the Dictionary function is in use. At other times the notes you play on the keyboard are displayed. NOTE • Any notes occurring below or above the staff are indicated by "8va" in the notation. • For a few specific chords, not all notes may be shown in the notation section of the display. This is due to space limitations in the display. Measure Display Indicates the current song or style measure number, or the metronome beat. "F t" appears when a free-tempo song is selected. Chord Display Shows the name of the chord currently being played back, or the name of the chord being played on the keyboard. Beat Display Indicates the current style or song beat with flashing arrows. Octave Display The "OVER" indicator and an arrow will flash when notes higher or lower than the instrument's keyboard range are played during disk song playback. When you have shifted the pitch of the keyboard up or down for playback, the selected octave shift will also be shown: +1, +1, -1, or -2. 001 GrandPno Battery Level Indicator This appear when battery power is too low to ensure proper operation. (see page 10) TOUCH Indicates that the Touch is turned on. HARMONY Indicates that the Harmony is turned on. DUAL Indicates that the Dual voice is turned on.
