REMOTE CONTROL FEATURES Controlling each component Once you set the appropriate manufacturer codes, you can use this remote to control your other components. Note that some buttons may not correctly operate the selected component. Use the input selector buttons to select the component you want to operate. The remote control automatically switches to the appropriate control mode for that component. y • To control a component without changing the receiver's input mode, use SELECT k/n to select the component. • TV POWER, TV VOL -/+, TV INPUT, and TV MUTE will operate your TV without switching the input if the manufacturer code for your TV is set up in the DTV areas. If a component other than TV is set up in the DTV area, you can control your TV by setting up your TV in the PHONO area.
