Setting the network parameters manually Set the network parameters (such as IP address, Subnet Mask, and Default Gateway) manually. Setup menu "Network" > "IP Address" 1 Set "DHCP" to "Off". 2 Use the cursor keys to select a parameter type. IP Address Subnet Mask Default Gateway DNS Server (P) DNS Server (S) Specifies an IP address. Specifies a subnet mask. Specifies the IP address of the default gateway. Specifies the IP address of the primary DNS server. Specifies the IP address of the secondary DNS server. 3 Use the cursor keys to move the edit position and to select a value. 4 To set another parameter, press RETURN and repeat steps 2 to 3. 5 Press SETUP. This completes the settings. Setting the MAC address filter Sets the MAC address filter to limit access to the unit from other network devices. NOTE ▪ Operation of the AirPlay function or the DMC is not limited by this setting. ▪ You can specify up to 10 network devices that are permitted to access the unit. Setup menu "Network" > "MAC Address Filter" > "Filter" Settings Off Disables the MAC address filter. On Enables the MAC address filter. Specify the MAC addresses of the network devices that will be permitted access to the unit. When selecting "On" 1 Use the cursor keys to select an MAC address number. 2 Use the cursor keys to move the edit position and to select a value. 3 To specify another MAC address, press RETURN and repeat steps 1 to 2. 4 Press SETUP.
