In this case, read the cause and follow the corresponding remedies. Remedy The remote control will function within a maximum range of 6 m (20 ft) and no more than 30 degrees off-axis from the front panel. Reposition this unit. Replace all batteries. Using alkaline batteries is strongly recommended. Set the backlight mode to "OFF". Set the operation mode selector correctly. When operating this unit, set it to the FAMP position.When operating the component selected by the input selector button, set it to the FSOURCE position.When operating the TV, set it to the FTV position. Set the remote control code correctly using "List of remote control codes" at the end of this manual. Try setting another code of the same manufacturer using "List of remote control codes" at the end of this manual. Match the remote control ID of this unit and the remote control. Program the necessary functions independently into the programmable buttons using the Learn feature. Replace the batteries. Place the remote controls at the proper distance. Learning is not possible.
