What to Do with Used Oil Did you know that used engineoil contains certain elements thatmay be unhealthy for your skin and could even cause cancer? Don't used oil stay on your skin let for very long. Clean your skin and nails with soap and water, or a good hand cleaner. Wash or properly throw away clothing or rags containing used engine (See oil. the manufacturer's warnings about the use and disposal of oil products.) Used oil can be a real threat to the environment.you If change your ownoil, be sure to drain all free-flowingoil from the filter before disposal. Don't ever dispose of oil by putting it in the trash, pouring it on the ground, into sewers, or into streams or bodiesof water. Instead, recycle it by taking it a place that collects used oil. to If you have a problem properly disposing of your used oil, ask your dealer, a service station a local recycling or center for help. Air Cleaner The air cleaner is located on the driver's side of the engine compartment. To check or replace the filter: air 1. Unscrew the four Phillips-head screws, then pull the cover back. 2. Remove the air cleaner filter. 3. Be sure to install the air cleaner filter and replace the cover tightly.
