~ Lift the hood, release from its the hood prop retainer and put the hood prop rodinto the slot marked PROP ROD. Then go to the front of the vehicle and the secondary lift hood release handle before lifting. Before closing the hood, be all the filler caps sure are on properly. Then let the hood drop about from 8 to 12 inches (20 to 30 cm).
