What toAdd When you do need brake fluid, use onlyDOT-3 brake Supreme 11 (GM Part fluid -- such as Delco No. 1052535). Use newbrake fluid from a sealed container only, and always clean the brake fluid reservoir cap before removingit. @ Brake Wear Unless you havethe four-wheel disc brake option, your Pontiac has front disc brakes and rear drum brakes. Disc brake pads have built-in wear indicators that make a high-pitched wanzing sound when the brake pads are worn and new pads needed. The sound may come and are go or be heard al the time your vehicleis moving (except l when you are pushing on the brake pedal firmly). c , NOTICE: Don't let someoneput in the wrong kindof fluid. For example, just a few drops of mineral-based oil, such as engine oil, in your brake system can damage brake system partsso badly thatthey'll have to be replaced.
