If colour irregularity persists... Precautions On safety Should any solid object or liquid fall into the cabinet, unplug the system and have it checked by qualified personnel before operating it any further. Place the speakers farther away from the TV set. If colour irregularity is observed again and continuously...Do not place magnetic objects near the speakers as magnetic interaction between them may cause colour irregularity on a nearby TV screen. On power sources • The system is not disconnected from the AC power source (mains) as long as it is connected to the wall outlet, even if the system itself has been turned off. • If you are not going to use the system for a long time, be sure to disconnect the system from the wall outlet. To disconnect the AC power cord (mains lead), grasp the plug itself; never pull the cord. • AC power cord must only be changed at the qualified service shop. Magnetic objects ...Racks, magnets attached to the doors, health appliances, magnets used for toys, etc. If you have any questions or problems concerning your system, please consult your nearest Aiwa dealer. On placement Do not place the system in a location near heat sources, or in a place subject to direct sunlight, excessive dust or mechanical shock. On adjusting volume Do not turn up the volume while listening to a portion with very low level input (soft sound) or no audio signal. If you do, the speakers may be damaged when a peak level portion is played. On cleaning Clean the cabinet, panel and controls with a soft cloth slightly moistened with a mild detergent solution. Do not use any type of abrasive pad, scouring powder or solvent such as alcohol or benzine. If you encounter colour irregularity on a nearby TV screen This speaker system is magnetically shielded for placement near a TV set.
