Configuration Configuring the OpenCom 100 7.2.12 Resetting the System Data You can restore the factory settings of the OpenCom 100 in the Configurator. If this is not possible, refer to the next section entitled Basic Hardware Settings Switch. Please note: If this is done, all individual settings and the user data are then lost. For this reason, you should back up your configuration regularly, the best time to do so being after every change. For details, refer to the chapter entitled Saving and Loading the Configuration starting on page 81 and to the Web console online help. Proceed as follows: 1. In the Configurator, call up the System: Restart menu. 2. Click on Restart with Defaults. 3. Confirm this by pressing "OK" when the query dialogue box opens. 7.2.13 Basic Hardware Settings Switch The OpenCom 100 configuration can also be returned to the factory settings by means of the basic hardware settings switch. Please note: If the factory settings are restored, all customer settings and user data will be lost. To restore the OpenCom 100 basic settings, proceed as follows: 1. Switch off the OpenCom 100 by disconnecting the power plug and the plug-in power supply of the basic module (OpenCom 130). 2. Remove the cover. CAUTION! Static charges can damage electronic devices.
