155 Configuring the Light-Weight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) Settings This feature allows the user to configure the Light-Weight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) settings. When you click in the Options window, the following screen will display: Follow the steps below to configure the LDAP settings. 1 Check the enable box to enable LDAP Authentication and LDAP Authentication over SSL support. 2 Enter a port number for the LDAP server. 3 Enter an IP Address for the LDAP server. 4 Enter a Bind Password for the LDAP server. 5 Enter a Bind DN value in the field. (The bind DN is the user or the LDAP server that is permitted to do search in the LDAP directory within a defined search base.) 6 Enter a SearchBase value in the field. (The SearchBase is the directory that allows the external user to search data.) 7 After entering the information in the fields, click to save the information you've entered.
