When installing components, it's wise to wear a wrist grounding strap that prevents static electricity from discharging into electronic components. It is good practice to use an antistatic wrist strap when accessing the interior of the server. You can also arrange for an Apple-authorized service provider to install or replace components in the server. For details about this service, see the support information that came with your server. Additional support information is available at the Apple Support Web site: www.apple.com/support Installing or Replacing an Apple Drive Module The drive modules in the server are hot-pluggable; that is, you can remove one and replace it with another drive while the server is running. A status light on each drive indicates when it's safe to remove a drive without losing any information.
