To restore iPod software using the iPod Updater application that came on your iPod CD: Â If you have a Mac, you can find the iPod Updater application in Applications/Utilities/ iPod Software Updater. Â If you have a Windows PC, you can find the iPod Updater application by choosing Start > All Programs > iPod.
