2.11.2 Floppy disk drive You need to remove the front panel assembly before you can remove the floppy disk drive. Refer to section "2.5.1 Removing the front panel assembly" for instructions. To remove the floppy disk drive: 1. Disconnect the floppy disk cable and power cable from the drive to completely release the drive. Floppy drive power cable Floppy drive signal cable Red stripe to match Pin 1 on the connector 2. Remove the screw that secures the floppy disk. 3. Carefully pull out the drive from the chassis. the floppy disk.
To remove the floppy disk drive:
