T roubleshooting Audio PROBLEM Reduced noise cancellation, intermittent clicking sounds, or communication distortion in a loud environment WHAT TO DO Make sure the earcups are clean and free of debris (see page 48). Remove the microphone, then attach again (see page 30). If the headset emits any loud noise and related loss of communications while in Acoustic Noise Cancelling mode, turn the power off. The headset will continue to provide communications in the passive noise reducing mode. Squealing or whistling sound when the headset powers on Make sure the headset orientation is correct. Use the Left T and Right U markings on the headset to orient the headset correctly. Make sure the ear cushions fully cover your ears (see page 18). Make sure the earcups are clean and free of debris (see page 48).
