Attaching needle With the flat side facing the front, insert the needle all the way until it meets the end of the needle bar. Tighten the set screw q firmly. Notes) • Set the needle so that the notched part will come on the rotary hook side. • The needle should not be angled to the left (when viewed from the front). Selecting needle • When using special threads such as gold, silver, and rame yarn, use a heavy-duty needle (#11 ~ #16). For better finish, paste the waxed paper on the back of the material. • In general, use DBxK5 #11 ~ #18 according to the material thickness. For knitted materials, use DBxK23 #11 because its rounded point prevents the knit thread from breaking. 48 BES-940BC • BES-1240BC

Selecting needle
When using special threads such as gold,
silver, and rame yarn, use a heavy-duty
needle (#11 ~ #16).
For better finish, paste
the waxed paper on the back of the
material.
In general, use DBxK5 #11 ~ #18 according
to the material thickness.
For knitted
materials, use DBxK23 #11 because its
rounded point prevents the knit thread from
breaking.
