Managing the Machine Increasing the Security of Documents 3S1Y-081 The machine is equipped with security functions designed to prevent documents from being leaked or tampered with. Device Signature The digital signature is added to scanned documents using a key and certificate mechanism in order to prove to the recipient that the document has been created on the machine. The recipient can verify "the device that created the document" and "whether the document has been tampered with." Before adding a device signature, you need to generate a key and certificate (device certificate) that is used for the device signature using the machine.
