4. Manual Exposure [M] This mode lets you set both the shutter speed and aperture. Use this mode when you need complete control of exposure for creative effects or when using a hand-held exposure meter. The main dial sets the shutter speed and the quick control dial sets the aperture. MODE AF ISO ● Using the Camera's Built-in Meter 1 While pressing the shooting mode selector, turn the main dial to the left or right until "M" appears in the LCD panel. M ONE SHOT 2 Release the shooting mode selector. 3 Set the quick control dial switch to . 4 Turn the main dial to the desired shutter speed and the quick control dial to the desired aperture. • The optionally available Command Back E1 is not equipped with a quick control dial. When using the Command Back E1, set the aperture by pressing the exposure compensation button and turning the main dial. 59
