RX SETTINGS Name ECM RX FAX/TEL AUTO SW RING START TIME F/T RING TIME DEFAULT ACTION INCOMING RING RING COUNT MAN/AUTO SWITCH RING TIME REMOTE RX REMOTE RX ID MEMORY RX DRPD:SELECT FAX Description Enable/disable error correction during reception. Enable/disable FAX/TEL switchover. This feature is used to answer calls, and if no fax tone is detected, the fax rings to alert you of an incoming call. Settings ON/OFF - Set the duration that the fax listens for a fax tone before starting to ring. 8 seconds (0 to 30) Set the length of time the fax will ring to alert you of an incoming call. 15 seconds (10 to 45) Select the action taken after the F/T RING TIME expires. When the optional handset or an extension phone is connected, you can set the fax to ring when it receives a call. DISCONNECT/RECEIVE ON/OFF Set the number of incoming rings before the fax answers. Determine if the fax switches to document receive mode after the fax rings for a specified time when the fax is in the manual receive mode. 2 times (1 to 99) ON/OFF Set the amount of time the fax will ring before switching to document receive mode. Enables/disables remote receiving. 15 seconds (1 to 99) ON/OFF If you set REMOTE RX to ON, you can select the remote receiving ID. Turn on/off memory receiving of a document. If you select DRPD as the receive mode, select the ring pattern for the fax. 25 (00 to 99) ON/OFF NORMAL RING DOUBLE RING SHORT-SHORT-LONG SHORT-LONG-SHORT OTHER RING TYPE PRINTER SETTINGS 7-4 Name RX REDUCTION FIXED REDUCTION REDUCE DIMENSION PAPER SIZE Description Enable/disable reduction for received documents. Settings ON/OFF Select the reduction rate. STANDARD/ A4➝LTR/ LGL➝LTR Select reduction in height only or both width and height. Select the size of the loaded fax paper. VERTICAL ONLY/ HORIZ & VERTICAL LTR/A4/LGL (Default settings are shown in bold type.)
