Using the Shutter Button

This does not constitute a malfunction. Using the Shutter Button The shutter button features a two-stage action. Pressing Halfway Lightly press the shutter button halfway to automatically set the exposure and focus settings. The camera will beep twice and the upper indicator will shine green (red for flash) when the metering is finished. • The lower indicator will also shine orange when the camera is ready in macro mode. Pressing Fully Press the button all the way down to activate the shutter. The beep will sound once. The upper indicator will flash green while the image is being recorded onto the CF card. • The recorded image will be temporarily stored in the camera's built-in memory and then be written to the CF card.
