Editing Movies You can delete portions of recorded movies. Protected movies and movies 1 second or less in duration ( of 15 sec.* or 30 sec.**) cannot be edited. * When the shooting interval is 1 sec. **When the shooting interval is 2 sec. 1 Select (Edit) in the movie control panel and Movie Editing Panel press . zThe movie editing panel and the movie editing bar will display. Movie Editing Bar 2 Use the or button to select (Cut Beginning) or (Cut End) and the or button to specify the cut point( ). zTo check a temporarily edited movie, select (Play) and press the FUNC./SET button. zSelecting (Exit) cancels the edit and restores the movie control panel. 3 Select (Save) and press . 4 Select [New File] or [Overwrite] and press . z[New File] saves the edited movie under a new file name. The pre-edit data is left unchanged. Note, if you press the FUNC./SET button while saving the movie, saving is canceled. z[Overwrite] saves the edited movie with its original name. The pre-edit data is lost. zWhen there is not enough space left on the memory card, only [Overwrite] can be selected. 82
