5 Review the edited movie. ●●Choose [ ] to play the edited movie. ●●To edit the movie again, repeat step 4. ●●To cancel editing, press the button. 6 Save the edited movie. ●●Choose [ ] and then [New file]. ●●Choose [Save w/o comp.]. ●●The movie is now saved as a new file. ●● To overwrite the original movie with the cut one, choose [Overwrite] in step 6. In this case, the original movie will be erased. ●● If the memory card lacks sufficient space, only [Overwrite] will be available. ●● Movies may not be saved if the battery pack runs out while saving is in progress. ●● When editing movies, you should use a fully charged battery pack. Extracting Frames of 4K Movies as Stills ●●You can save a frame of a movie as a still image by choosing [ ] in the movie control panel in step 3 of "Removing the Beginning/End of Movies" (=79). Reducing File Sizes Movie file sizes can be reduced by compressing movies as follows. ●●On the screen in step 4 of "Removing the Beginning/End of Movies" (= 79), choose [ ], and then choose [New file]. ●●Choose [Compress & sav.]. Before Compression , , , , After Compression ●● Edited movies cannot be saved in compressed format when you choose [Overwrite].
