Advanced Operations and Setups Currency exchange function When key is pressed, a current subtotal including tax is converted directly into foreign currency and the result is displayed, and the subsequent finalization is handled using the foreign currency. The currency exchange function is released by finalizing a transaction, partial tender operation, receipt issuance, or by pressing . Before using the currency exchange function, it is necessary to program the conversion rate. Registering foreign currency Full amount tender in foreign currency * Pre-programmed exchange rate: ¥ 100 = $0.9524 Important! Tenders in a foreign currency can be registered using the a and k only. Currency exchange function
When <CE> key is pressed, a current subtotal including tax is converted directly into foreign currency and the
result is displayed, and the subsequent finalization is handled using the foreign currency. The currency
exchange function is released by finalizing a transaction, partial tender operation, receipt issuance, or by
pressing <SUBTOTAL>.
Before using the currency exchange function, it is necessary to program the conversion rate.
Registering foreign currency
Full amount tender in foreign currency
* Pre-programmed exchange rate: ¥ 100 = $0.9524
Important!
Tenders in a foreign currency can be registered using the

only.
Other finalize keys cannot be used.
