Figure 2-1: Front Panel LEDs System Green. Lights to indicate the power is being supplied to the Switch. LINK/ACT Green. Lights to indicate a functional network link through the corresponding port (1 through 24) with an attached device. Blinks to indicate that the Switch is actively sending or receiving data over that port. Ports LAN (1-24) The LAN (Local Area Network) ports connect to Ethernet network devices, such as other switches or routers. Gigabit1 /Gigabit2 / The switch is equipped with two Gigabit ports and a mini GBIC port that is shared with miniGBIB Gigabit Port 2. If Gigabit Port 2 is being used, the minGBIC port cannot be used. They link to high-speed network peripheral system or clients at speeds of up to 1000Mbps. Gigabit Green. Lights to indicate the port is working in Gigabit mode. The Front Panel
The Switch's LEDs and ports are located on the front panel.
LEDs
System
Green. Lights to indicate the power is being supplied to the Switch.
LINK/ACT
Green. Lights to indicate a functional network link through the corresponding port (1
through 24) with an attached device. Blinks to indicate that the Switch is actively sending
or receiving data over that port.
Ports
LAN (1-24)
The
