To begin, make sure you have the following: • Boingo Hot Spot in a Box device • DSL, cable, or T1 connectivity • A notebook or desktop computer with a wireless 802.11b or 802.11g adapter (such as a PCMCIA card) or built-in 802.11b or 802.11g capabilities Step 1: Setup of Your First Hot Spot in a Box Device Set up the Wireless-G VPN Broadband Router using the Setup Wizard on the Setup CD-ROM. Boingo recommends that you use a wired connection to configure the Router for Hot Spot in a Box. Then, click the Register button on the Hot Spot tab of the Setup tab in the Router's Web-based Utility (refer to "Chapter 6: Configuring the WirelessG VPN Broadband Router").
