Verify that the server serial number displayed matches the serial number you recorded earlier. 2. Verify that the new service number displayed is correct. NOTE: The new service number will contain the serial number of the new PCI-X I/O module. 3. Exit RBSU. 4. If you are reinstalling the operating system, proceed to the "Configuring the Server" section of this guide. CAUTION: If you are performing upgrade Method 2, do not perform the procedures in the "Configuring the Server" section that follows. Performing those steps will cause data loss. If you are performing upgrade Method 2, the upgrade is now complete.

Confirming the Serial Number and Service
Number Display
After the server completes the Power-On Self Test, press the
F9
key to access
the RBSU configuration utility screen.
1. Verify that the server serial number displayed matches the serial number
you recorded earlier.
2. Verify that the new service number displayed is correct.
NOTE:
The new service number will contain the serial number of the new PCI-X I/O
module.
3. Exit RBSU.
4. If you are reinstalling the operating system, proceed to the
Configuring
the Server
section of this guide.
CAUTION:
If you are performing upgrade Method 2, do not perform the
procedures in the
Configuring the Server
section that follows. Performing
